Pre-Apprenticeship Program
BUILDBEYOND Capital Region is a Comprehensive 140+ hour Pre-Apprentice Training Program. It was developed and approved by the Eastern NY Laborers
- This is a program designed to encourage, develop, and maintain individuals from distressed, communities of color and disadvantaged areas.
- Valuable career-long knowledge instilled; self-management, money management, interpersonal skills, and many more.
- Walk away with various certifications and trade specific training.

- Blueprint Awareness

TRADES RELATED TRAINING
- Fall Protection
- Excavation & Trench Safety
- Scaffold User GHS
- Boom &Scissor Lift User
- Hazardous Communication
- Respirator/PPE Training
Total: 42 hours

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a resident of the Capital District
- Capable of performing 8 hours of physical labor each day
- Willing to travel to job sites throughout the Hudson Valley
- Be 18 years or older
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or TASC at the time of application
- Able to pass a drug test
- Be unemployed or have a low-income job
- Able to attend class Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturdays
